What is a Casino?

Casinos also use bright and sometimes gaudy floor and wall coverings to create a mood of excitement and energy. They also avoid clocks on the walls, which are thought to make gamblers lose track of time and therefore spend more money.

Because of the enormous amount of money handled inside a casino, it is not surprising that employees and patrons may be tempted to cheat or steal. Some casinos have strict rules on player behavior to help prevent these types of activities.
